Fire & Aether is an independent British jewellery brand creating handcrafted fantasy jewellery inspired by mythology, gothic architecture, medieval history and the natural world. Every collection is designed as though it were discovered within its own forgotten realm, complete with its own history, symbols and legends.

This is jewellery for those who have never quite belonged to the ordinary world.

From the first concept sketch to the final polish, every stage is carefully considered to ensure each piece captures the elegance, mystery and craftsmanship our customers expect.

Our jewellery is designed in our Kent studio before being carefully finished and quality checked by hand. We take pride in creating pieces that are comfortable to wear while showcasing the intricate gothic and fantasy details that define the Fire & Aether aesthetic.

Because each piece receives individual attention, slight variations become part of its unique character.

The Story Behind The Brand

I'm Kayleigh, the founder, designer and maker behind Fire & Aether.

I've always been fascinated by mythology, medieval history, folklore and the stories hidden within forgotten places. Long before Fire & Aether existed, I found myself drawn to ruined castles, ancient forests, old churches and weathered stone carvings, imagining the lives, legends and magic that once surrounded them.

For years I built a career in law, working in a demanding profession while spending every spare evening designing jewellery.

Making jewellery became more than a creative hobby.

It became a way to build the kind of world I wanted to live in.

As the years passed, Fire & Aether slowly evolved from a small handmade jewellery business into the fantasy universe you see today. Every collection is inspired by my love of folklore, gothic architecture, nature, medieval craftsmanship and the belief that jewellery should carry emotion as well as beauty.

Every piece I design is one I would proudly wear myself.

Pieces that feel as though they have been discovered rather than manufactured.
